E1 is a 1,600-capacity club located in Wapping, East London. Since opening in 2017, it has established itself as one of London’s premier electronic music destinations, hosting world-class DJs across techno, house, trance, and beyond. As one of the last 100% independently owned clubs in London, E1 is driven by a small, passionate team dedicated to creating an open space for everyone to come together and dance. The venue features a state-of-the-art Funktion-One sound system, cutting-edge production, and an industrial aesthetic that has become synonymous with London’s underground scene. This cult underground club boasts ‘next level audio visual and lighting’ with both E1 music rooms featuring bespoke Funktion-One sound systems that have been designed, installed and maintained by Sound Services Ltd. They include Evolution 6 Mid Highs and the new linear transducer-powered BR132A Bass enclosures. This new technology can unlock low frequency information that goes unnoticed on most audio systems, while the BR132 is the largest, deepest and most powerful of Funktion-One’s bass reflex series of bass loudspeakers.
